Artist’s statement:
I recently took part of the “oneTree 2017” exhibit at the Robert Bateman Centre in Victoria, BC. Instead of turning a majestic tree into fire log, over 50 artists responded by making one-of-akind creations for the exhibition. Inspired by Japanese ledger, this book is meant to capture my artistic journey in making the “Traveler’s Atelier”. The wood pieces on the cover were spare parts of that project.
