In 2016, a century old walnut tree located at 1006 St. Charles Street in Victoria, BC had to be taken down for safety reasons. The Robert Bateman Centre and Live Edge Design once again partnered to create the innovative oneTree Exhibit celebrating the life of a single tree trough the beauty of art. Fifty-three artisans responded to the call-up to give a new life to a magnificent walnut tree by creating inspired objects – from wood turning bowl, hand crafted sculptures, musical instruments, gnome house, furnitures, desks to dining room tables.
